Installing CasaOS

Installing CasaOS is SUPER simple no matter what kind of device you're using (Ubuntu, Debian, Raspberry Pi OS, and CentOS).

Install your preferred base operating system to get started based on the instructions of that operating system.

Once that is done and you've run all your updates, open a terminal (or login via SSH) and run the following command:

curl -fsSL https://get.icewhale.io/casaos.sh | bash

Once the script has finished, you should be able to go to your server's IP address in your local browser find the CasaOS dashboard.

Please note that CasaOS uses port 80 by default, so please keep that in mind.

At the time of writing, the following was found in CasaOS's Discord server with regards to remote access:

Regarding external access, we have an idea to use ZeroTier's technology as a base, so that you can access CasaOS and the various apps on it while you are outside, just like you can access the intranet. -source

This may change at a later date, but, at the time of writing, this is the statement I found.
